PS Audio P10 - any experience?

Hey guys,

Any experience with the PS Audio P10 power regenerator? Looks like reviews have been very favorable. Would definitely like to have regenerated power and would definitely appreciate some surge protection. Would hate to come home to busted speakers and upstreams.

Thoughts?

Btw, I have a single dedicated 20 amp line in the room and the room also has a bunch of outlets shared to a 15 amp circuit.

Any experience with the PS Audio P10 power regenerator?

I have a P10 running my source components and preamps in my 2 channel system and another P10 running three GFA-5500 power amps, two preamps, and a Blu-ray player in my home theater system. I will be getting a third P10 to run my entire office system.

The P10 can't handle some high power/high current amps, like my former Halo JC 1s and my current Pass X600.5s.

Reviews of my P10s are here:

I have a P5 with the following hooked up to it:
    McIntosh C2300 pre
    McIntosh MC452 amp
    McIntosh MCD500 SACD player

It handles the load quite well and does wonders for regeneration. This unit replaced a Power Plant Premier.

Joey, I am sure you aware there is a serious contender from Accuphase for clean power source.

But for the kind of the money you are spending for Accuphase or PS, you could install a dedicated clean power source with solar panels on your roof and dedicated circuits from the solar panels that shares nothing (no neutral, no earth ground) with the dirty AC lines. It's what I would do if I seriously need the clean power. 10K worth of Solar Power generations equipment should produce enough power to use your 2 Channel system for a few hours daily. Just don't hook up the solar circuit to your Edison power line.
Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin:

@Bluefox has a solar power system for his 2 channel system.

I have solar because the darn amps, in the summer, create so much heat I have to run the AC just to listen to music, and that made my electricty bill go through the roof. However, the solar is for the whole house, not just the stereo. I am thinking of looking into the batteries Musk/Tesla will be releasing to see if it is feasible to use them to only power the stereo at night. I would guess there is some way to attach their output to the dedicated lines for the stereo.

Which would mate well with your Sonus fabers. I am using the Cremona Auditor Ms with a REL B1.
