SVS PC 12 ULTRA PROBLEM

in Basic Hookup/Wiring Questions
Hi I am using Monster 400SW Cable since I bought the Sub! No problem so far using that Cable but recently I bought Monster 600SW Cable to connect SVS Sub with HK Receiver but no sound output from Sub!!!I have checked the connection in both sides but found no problem so I purchased second 600SW Cable from different Store but experienced same problem!!!
TV :>Panasonic TC-P55VT50
RECEIVER :> HARMAN KARDON AVR 7300
FRONT :> L & R :> POLK RTI A9 500 W
AMP :1> PARASOUND HALO A21 250 W
AMP :2> EMOTIVA UPA-1 200 W
CENTER :> POLK LSiM 706c 250 W
SURROUND SIDE :> POLK RTi A3 150 W
SURROUND REAR :>POLK FXI A6 150 W
DVD PLAYER(HD) :>TOSHIBA HD X-A2
DVD PLAYER(BLU-RAY) :>Panasonic DMP-UB900
POWER CONDITIONER :> PANAMAX M5400-EX
SUBWOOFER :A> SVS SB16-Ultra 1500 W Front

    Just for clarification have you tried hooking the 400SW back up to see if it still works?

    If the Receiver and Sub have not changed, and the only difference is the two cables you tried, then that narrows it down to the cables.

    looking at the description of the two cables it sure doesn't stand out as to why the 600sw wouldn't work. Unless it has to do with the "Balance construction to reduce noise." I would suggest trying something else besides monster and seeing what happens.

    I have tried Monster M1000 SW-20 M-Series,It perform better than 400SW but occasionally it cause Hum specially when lots of LFE scene...........

    eeewww monster sub cables. I had some and friends had some but no longer. the Monoprice cable is good bluejeans is better (i have one of each). If you are going to spend the money for the monster call Doug @ http://www.douglasconnection.com/main.sc and get a good cable. or you can go to you local Lowes or home Depot and get some RG6 and make your own which works well.
    When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

    My buddy broke the sub out rca off the board of his Denon, because the monster had a death grip on the rca jack. He threw that cable in the garbage and bought a different cable. luckily he had about a month of warranty and Denon repaired the receiver for free.
