Yet we are living longer than ever.

Yes and no....I think more so that accounts for our technology advances in our ability to fix whats wrong with our bodies. However, the various things that are wrong seem to be growing numerically and at earlier ages.

There always seems to be fine lines that remain between balancing ones life of risk and abuse to obtain that reward. Fine lines between scaring people, and relieving them of their coin for profit. Fine lines between government mandates, and who has ultimate control over your healthcare.

Now those fine lines are blurred even more so and the average person simply doesn't know anymore which is which. Whats truth or scare tactics. So you say you read xyz on the internet, it must have some element of truth then ? Not so fast...because the information highway has been turned into one big propaganda machine to drive agendas. Information is scrubbed every day, or at the very least buried so far back that nobody will ever look there. Anything negative is quickly met with the " conspiracy wack job" tag, or discredited by some other paid for professional.

Injecting some common sense in all this is key. You know when your partaking in excesses, when you have numerous risky actions in your life. You know when you shouldn't have that fourth piece of cheese cake....but it tastes so darn good, right ? You know when your physically incapable of going rock climbing but go anyway 'cause all the guys are going and there will be beer there. Choices, we all have them, except we want to keep making bad ones with out accepting the consequences.

Ever hear the expression " we are a product of our own environment" ? Well, change your environment then if you wish to change the product. We seem to have a hard time in our society identifying the root cause of a problem and an even harder time identifying the proper course of action to solve it. Too many things in the middle get in the way of solving anything. Instead we have become masters at putting band-aides on things....never solving the root cause. Especially if that root cause points back at ourselves. No...no, can't have that. We are all victims of one thing or another, so we are told anyway.

I guess my point in all this is....don't believe everything you read, trust very little in anything government tells you, use some common sense, take responsibility for yourself and your own actions. If you can do that, you'll live a longer, healthier life.

Seems there is some research that doesn't agree with the alarmist view.
Either way, cellphones are here to stay . Deal with it or move to an island.

I would definitely trade in my cell phone for an island home...which is ironic bc I am posting this message using my cell phone while on vacation in Jamaica!
