Then I'm a dead man. I worked in two way radio, as well as radar and TACAN as a GI.
Cellphones are just low power toys compared to that.

YAY!
More scientific break-throughs in the area of...wait...just more FUD.
But then it is on the internet so obviously, it MUST be true.
Do you also believe that the gubment is hidin' them there aliens they found at Roswell, NM at Area 51?!?!
Did you know that whatever device you posted this from has no fewer than 50 known carcinogens in it? At least according to the state of Kalifornia.
Fact is, just walking across the street puts you at as much risk, if not more, of dying than using a cell phone for part of your life time.
Fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) is a tactic used in sales, marketing, public relations, politics and propaganda.
FUD is generally a strategic attempt to influence perception by disseminating negative and dubious or false information."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

Total agree with you. Thanks for thinking.Joey Ward -
Just wrap your cell phone in aluminum foil and you'll be all set. For extra protection, you need to wrap head too. Then your house... all those radio, TV, cell phones, neighborhood WIFI, police/fire/aviation radio, natural background, wireless phone, etc. wireless radiation device just floods your local air space with RF. So to be sure, you need to make everything in your house aluminum foil. Stuff like blankets, bed sheets, all your clothing, shower curtains, etc. Don't forget RF travels through space. Our own transmissions decades ago are still travelling way beyond our solar system. Think of all the advanced alien races and all their transmission devices sending us potentially deadly radiation, or enough to put ideas right in our minds. No wonder why we have to upgrade our gear...more sound quality means less immunity. Time to hide your wife, hide your kids.

This is ridiculous. Radio frequencies have been all around us and used a hundred years or better. WiFi isn't any different, do you really think it matters how many devices are receiving it. The signal is the same band and mhz regardless. Today's LCD screens give off hardly any radiation compared to early tube television. Take the cell phone away...guess what your still exposed to the same signal. The device doesn't magically pull the signal closer to you. Come on people...wireless technology has saved far more lives than it has taken...who the hell paid for this study. That is all...carry onOh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. Funny how everyone wants to discredit stuff no matter how wacky or truthful it may be. Thing is with these wacky "sound the alarm" sites is, usually there is an element of truth in there. Maybe not to the extreme they always portray, but we live in an extremist society where every bit of info is twisted and turned to meet an agenda. The basic truth gets lost as it always does.
Money buys truth these days. Show me stuff that's been studied by people NOT on the payroll of government, big pharma, FDA, and the likes.HT SYSTEM-

That's the hell of it. There are very few absolute truths, therefore almost everything is based on perception, probability, and opinion.Oh, Listen here mister. To get an unbiased result, studies need to be done independently, by people unassociated with whats being studied and funded by people unassociated with any outcome.
Truth can be had if done right, but we only get someone elses version of the truth, and for some reason we accept that as gospel.HT SYSTEM-

Like doing research before you buy your stereo gear you should do research on microwave technology, this is the problem. The truth is out there, its that most people can't see it. Remember thing, microwave is a weapon.
Check out Barrie Trower work. Site above. He has been involved in microwave technology since the 60's.

Joey,
Information is out there for anyone who knows how to use the internet, but don't expect any negatives to come at you on the front page news cycles. Plus you have to learn to read between the lines on all the B.S. that's out there.
My take....all this junk about cell phones and wi-fi affecting peoples health opens the door for a new way to introduce more taxes. Lots of cell phones out there. Just like they did with smokers. Tax cigarettes because they are deemed bad for you, help bring down healthcare costs too. Anybody see their HC costs come down ? Once they even suggest a tax on cell phones, who do you think will flood politicians with donations NOT to pass such nonsense ?
It's all a game, a very well strategized game at that, and all revolves around money.HT SYSTEM-

No, not at Roswell.Fact is, just walking across the street puts you at as much risk, if not more, of dying than using a cell phone for part of your life time.
In 2012, 4,743 pedestrians were killed in traffic crashes.
In the US, as of April, 2014, there were 327,577,529 mobile phones.
So if .00015 % of mobile phone users contract a radiation induced disease, then that would equal 4743 pedestrian deaths.
I'm sure that Verizon/ATT/Sprint have done extensive studies that show that only .00013% of mobile phone users may contract a radiation induced disease, so .... we're good to go !
(any attempts to reduce that number to zero might affect corporate profits, so .... no way !
I suppose we have to wait for the numbers to come in, though.
It wasn't until 1987 that the number of cell phone subscribers went over 1 million.
It took until 1992 for the number to go over 10 million.
It took until 2000 for the number to go over 100 million.
It took until 2005 for the number to go over 200 million.
It took until 2010 for the number to go over 300 million,
That's a pretty good size group to perform statistical analysis on, I suppose.
Well, I could rant forever, but I have to make sure that Grandma takes her Boniva. She has osteoporosis and her pharmaceutical rep ... uhm ... doctor prescribed it for her. She refuses to take it since she read the Black Label warning, so I grind it up and put it in her food.
She doesn't realize that the authorities know best. She's old-fashioned that way.
P.S. I had to use the interwebs for the above stats. I was going to use "Startpage" for my search, but I used "Google" instead. I figure that I'll get a ton of coupons for Boniva from GlaxoSmithKline in every email account I have (because I used the word "Boniva" in this thread). Thanks, Google, you're looking out for me (and Grandma !!)

They don't need to have any medical studies to do that.
It will happen regardless.

The paid for medical studies are to justify additional taxes so they don't seem like the money grubbing idiots they are and to sell the idea to the general public. Make it look like it's your health that's their concern.

LOL....Reminds me of that pizza commercial.
Thing is with a lot of these "warnings" is they go by the extremes. For instance, too much of xyz is bad for you by x study from some university. Well, most anything is bad for you when ingested in extreme amounts. Even vitamins have the opposite effect if you pop them like M&M's.
I think the point of the wi-fi/cell phone thing is some are hitting the extremes. They have that cell phone glued to their ear/eyes all day and night. Then wi-fi everything in their house/work by numerous devices. To say ALL is bad is a bit misleading. Everything in moderation....the yin and the yang thing. When you abuse something, anything, it's going to turn out bad.
Remember when having a microwave caused cancer ? Well, yeah....keep your head up against it for 24/7 on high and I'm sure you may have some detrimental effects, but who does that ? Moderation kids...that's the key to a long life.

Have to disagree pal, more so about the money. Women with low self esteem want men to "take care of them". Give them a certain lifestyle. To some, having a baby insures that. That's why you see so many women throw themselves at sports figures with big money contracts.
