    Hipster....ie someone usually 35 or under and grew up with CD's not LP's now getting on the the vinyl bandwagon and trying to edumacate us older guys/gals who grew up with turntables and still enjoy them. Kinda like a bright kid who did well on his science project using a little ACME rocket kit going up to Wernher Von Braun and explain propulsion to him.

    Since I have a hipster, or a least a wannabe hipster in the house. I can tell you they seek to be unconventional...they partly protest materialism by shopping at thrift stores but have no problems picking up a brand new flannel at a regular store. They are nearly all in to Indy rock...the more obscure, the better. This gives them bragging rights among other hipsters. They enjoy sarcasm and sarcastic humor. Most are in to video games. Politics tends to be a bit left, but my son is a pretty much on the right...like me. They seek to try to defy current trends, yet in doing so, have made themselves a trend. It is really mostly teenagers and young adults trying to find themselves.
