Can i use 6503 in my rta 8Ts? Having trouble finding info. They originally came with 6511. Found where 6510s would work, but sure with 6503.

NOT sure about 6503

The three schematics for the 8Ts show 6501, 6510, and 6516s for the rev2. All are 8 ohm drivers. The 6511 is 4 ohm.
The 6503 has very similar T/S parameters. You could use one in a pinch, but all the drivers should match.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Thanks for the info. They are all 6503. Will see how they sound. Its kinda strange that the speakers are rated at 6 ohms but none of the drivers are.

The 8 ohm woofers are wired in parallel, which equals 4 ohms. The tweeters are 8 ohm. Polk Marketing split the difference, and depending on the model, listed them as 6 ohm, or 8 ohm compatible. In reality, an amp able to handle 4 ohm loads should be used.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Also, i was wondering if you would have time to format a 2TB external hard drive for me? I think FAT is what THJ is using. Id be happy to compensate you for your time.
