Lsim factory defects

Hello,
I have been a member on this forum since 2009, I do quite a bit of lurking and learning. And it seems my account has just up and disappeared! And haven't been able to find a way to make amends, so no big deal! That is the reason for this new account. Any way! to the point! Picked up an LSIM 706 to replace my lsi center, and seems it has some cosmetic defects. has anyone experienced this? Almost as if there is over spray on the cherry part from the black front. Over all the speaker is a work of art! And is a major step up from the old lsi center (I was never in love with the old lsi center). This was the last one online from future shop in Canada, so an exchange may not be possible. Future shop has been sold out of lsim for months and I am drooling to get a pair of 705's.... so figured I better snag the 706c for the decent price it was going for.

Yeah I figured calling Walter would be the best next route. I have dealt with him before with good results, the process does take a little longer. I don't want to return it to the store as these seem to be sold out everywhere in Canada. And ebay ones costing around 1300 bucks
Just wanted to know if anyone had a similar issue with lsim, I guess not then! Would like a product to be near perfect after spending 800 bucks! 2 channel:
