Four Outlet Power Strip & Douglas Connection

A diy shout out for Douglas Connection! He sells completed cables and parts for diy'ers.

I built a nicer four outlet box for my two channel system. My two 20 amp outlets are a few feet away from my amp/subs and I don't want to add any wall outlets, so I use a short extension. Before I used a metal four gang box. Visible only when looking behind amp, functional but not pretty.

I got the box on ebay. Doug supplied the cable, Wattgate plugs, Pass & Seymour 8200HI Hospital Grade Duplex Receptacles and Furutech Rhodium IEC. You can go from mild to wild with your budget there. I compared prices and found Doug is among the best deal around for diy parts.

I received no compensation for this message. Just a happy camper.

~ $222. The box was $81 shipping included from Hong Kong. Good fit and finish, like near 1/4" thick aluminum. It is not a shoddy enclosure. They offer a six outlet box in silver or black too. Hardware to attach outlets included (nuts, washers). I used some adhesive felt pads on the back instead of drilling/tapping and using rubber feet.

IIRC Doug offers Polkies a discount or break with shipping, but I didn't call and ask for it.
