My mistake. Didn't see the cut out on that auction. Yea I guess I have not been paying close enough attention. I'll be looking for a parasound in this price range.
HT/2Channel: Emotiva MMC-1, Adcom GFA-555II, Polk SDA 3.1's, Teac TN-300 TT, Polk Center and Sub.

Bedroom system: Carver CT-24, Parasound HCA-800II, Monitor 10's

    Additional projects: RTA 12c's
  • I just bought the same 'xact amp last week off of Craigslist for cheap when visiting a friend Austin TX.

My mental excuse was that I needed a 200wpc "backup" amp for the Sumo Andromeda.

But after a little bit of listening I think I like it better.

Never considered Parasound before, except for a little half-size tuner that I had for a short time.

The brochure said it is a John Curl design, and I don't think he ever designed anything that sounded bad.
Norh ACA-2B tube pre, Sumo Andromeda SS amp. Magneplanar MMG speakers, M&K MX1250 Subwoofer, Pro-Ject RM1.3 Genie TT with Sumiko Pearl MM cart., Keces DAC, Cambridge Audio Azur 640c CD player

Hey, you recent posters (yeah, you know who you are), there IS a rule around here - and you've ALL been around long enough to know it - against thread crapping in someone's 'For Sale' listing. If you aren't interested in someone's item that's listed, just move along.

    VERY poor form. >:)

IMHO if someone is saying something positive(as I was) then I have no problem with posts in my FS ads. Lord knows I've sold a ton on here and have had a lot of extra posts put in my ads. God bless, easy bump. I hope your point was to anyone who was saying something that was wrong with it, not right. Then those posts have no business in the thread.
