    an A21 and a Rogue Audio pre are on my list for a 2 ch system. I don't know if it's the end all, be all in the price range but the Halo is the one I MUST try for myself!

    I think Darqueknight had a pair of these before he too a big jump to the Pass Labs monoblocks. Great amps, I had the Halo A21 paired with my Rogue 99 Super Magnum.

    I used to have an A23. I liked it but nothing has ever bested my Sanders Sound Systems ESL amp. The best pre I had with it was a VTL 2.5

    Another amp I want to try in my budget range is one of the Hybrid Vincent Audio units. Would love to be able to do a side by side with it and the A21.
