Like I said at the beginning, "Also, inspect for a broken lead on the inductors."

Because JB weld is the bomb of course!

Curious, is that new rack held together with it as well?

Anyway, if you don't have one already buy yourself a hot glue gun.

They're Mylar, which is a film cap, but have been surpassed by Metalized Polypropylene

So I need a Mylar cap or just a Metalized Poly?

The Yellow Cap IS Mylar. The Daytons are Metalized Polypropylene. The Mylar cap should have been replaced with Metalized Polypropylene along with the others.

Way cute pic of you and that little peanut on the floor enjoying the stereo, Mr. Sharpe. :D

Now, get those Monitor 10s off the floor with some nice original, slightly back-tilted stands. Then, you'll really appreciate how nice those 10s can sound. If you don't have access to an original pair of stands, you can find the plans for making your own around here somewhere. I know they've been posted a time or two and hopefully weren't lost to the Forum format changeover.

Thanks, that's my girl, had "wish you were here" turned up fairly loud, she didn't care, she'd get right in front of the speaker lol.

I saved a copy of those plans from here:) they do sound better off the floor.

Didn't know that about the Mylars, otherwise I would've replaced them when I replaced the others.
