Those are pretty bright. There was a black set on there that just sold on the 11th for $775.

Would have loved to have made a move on those.

Now that I look at it closer, those things also aren't shipping for $75, even per unit and especially double-boxed. Something is fishy there.

I paid around $300 to have mine shipped from VA to TX, so $75 is a little off.

They fell off a truck. Dumb question perhaps, but where are the woofers for the lows?

You're looking at them. They are two-way transmission line speakers. They are easy as sin to drive and dig with absolute authority. Even if I wanted to sell mine, my wife wouldn't let me because they are pieces of art.... in this case, piano black, so they are attractive art.

So you wont trade me yours black ones for the Yellow ones if I bought them?

What if I toss in some Bud light?

I just had my pearl center channel painted black and it looks awesome.

Not sure what it would cost to have one done though. My brother in law who owns a cabinet shop was able to do if for me.

I'm not usually offended by bright colors "but" that yellow is butt ugly. A pair in pearl white on Long Island recently sold for $720 IIRC

They kind of remind me of a station wagon from the early 80's with that ugly yellow color and wood panel laminate.

the woofer is behind the grill, one 7" mid/bass driver and believe me you don't have to worry about bass.

Yeah, the 7" Usher 8945W woofer is a beast of a woofer for a 2-way design. Has been very popular with the DIY crowd over the years due to its close to Scan-Speak performance for much less money when they first came out. The 8945 is modeled after the SS 8545 but they are closer in price today.
