PSW110 Sound Issue

I have a PSW110 that I purchased in Nov 2011 that seemed to stop working this past weekend. Or at least that is when I noticed it not working. I tried to troubleshoot it with some of the recommendations in the forum, i.e. connect it to another device, check the cables, check the fuse, etc. But nothing seems to help.
The sub fails to produce any audible noise when plugged into a device. Obvisously, I tried with my stereo receiver, but I also tried using my cell phone and my son's tablet. The only way I could hear anything is if I turned the volume on the sub to Max. Even then the volume of what I heard was very soft.
The sub seems to get power as the standby light turns on and flashes to green or red depending on the signal. I double checked the fuse and it is still intact, and my sub cable doesn't have any defects. The sub will produce the low hum/feedback buzz if you touch the stereo end of the cable to anything electrical. So I am pretty sure it's not the speaker itself. I am worried that it is the sub's amp that has the problem.
As far as my normal listening habits go, the volume level on the sub never went past 50% and use the pre-out connections on my receiver.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks.
