My last grandparent has left this world to join her son, Raymond, and her husband, also named Raymond, in the HEAVENLY world that awaits us all.

You were my rock when I didn't even know I needed one, and my best friend when I didn't have one. You always were there for me with a smile, and taught me more about life than I ever got from my parents.

You are the reason my Christmases always held the magic they do for me to this day. I will forever be grateful for having had you in my life, for the laughter we shared, the wisdom you passed down, and that wonderful spaghetti that now only I can make just like you did.

I will never forget watching men land in the moon from under Grandpa's foot stool, pretending that the top of it was the hatch of my spaceship, nor will I forget the way you always made things better with a smile, a hug and some macaroni and cheese....

You will NEVER be forgotten, but rather remembered fondly and always with that mischievous smile I always had as your loving grandson. You will AWYAYS be loved.

Rest in Peace Grandma Marie, and say hi to Grandpa for me, as I miss him too.

I lived with her and my grandfather for three years while my parents went through their divorce. I was seven at the time.

I remember building card houses on her kitchen table with my baseball cards, she would help me. We had several that took up the entire table and were 8 stories high.
I also remember her washing clothes in the basement and carrying heavy wet clothes up the stairs. She had an old wringer-type washer that my grandfather bought her for a wedding present(try getting away with THAT today..lol) My grandfather finally got her modern machines in 1980!
