Black Hole for Rti12's?

I will be Dynamatting my Rti12's over the holidays while I'm home. Since I'll have the drivers out, I'm wondering if there would be any advantage/benefit to adding some black hole similar to what is commonly done with the vintage speakers. If so, where and how much? Any thoughts???

What about my CsiA6 center channel?

Side surrounds: Polk Rti A1's

The rest is TBD.

Can't answer from experience with rti's, since I don't own any. With my rta 12c's and 2.3tl's there was a notable improvement in mid range clarity. I used 4" wide strips behind the mw's, and none behind the pr's. Behind = on the back wall.

You might want to look into No Rez from GR Research as an alternative

I've been looking for either No Rez or BH5. I found No Rez at the GR website, but nowhere else. Not much luck finding BH5 either. I've looked at Craigslist, Ebay, HiFi Shark, Parts Express, etc. Any recommendations?

    BH5 is available from soniccraft.com

They have 15% off sales fairly frequently.

Sonic Barrier is also good, and available from Parts Express. Not as good as BH5, but still worth considering.

    Even better!

I guess I should know that; I recently ordered some BH5 under such a sale...
