Gotcha... missed the fact that you have a sub.

Ask yourself this though... If you are truly happy with the Paradigm, then why are you missing the bass? The answer is that huge open listening area you have.

Not implying SVS is the only solution, but your existing sub needs some help.... and I'll maintain that the 150's aren't it.

As for the towers, that was poorly worded on my part as I knew they were out of the picture now. I was thinking a 7.1 rig with the f/x 30's as rears and 50's as sides...

Do you like the 30's in bi or di-pole mode as rears?

Tour, I'm very happy with my Paradigm sub, I don't think the House could handle anymore sub if there was such a sub. I don't think so, maybe I can start a new tread. Paradigm Servo-15 RULES.

I must put my self with the No sub in music people. So with this I do think the 150's or the 12's fill the void.

As for as the FXi30's Bi-Pole over Di-Pole for me in the position you seen.

Just like the look better or was it price ??

I do think it will not be the end of it. I think about a $1200+ used amp should do it. Then either my wife will kill me or I just go deaf? 50/50:)

Neveer spent much time with the 12's or 150's, but what I did spend I like the sound of the 12's... but the look of the 150's...
12's are OK as long as the grills stay on.

What amp do you have in mind?

Height couple feet above ear level... play with them some if you can before commiting to permanent mount.

Big, long room... 7.1 should make the transitions from front to rear and vice versa smoother.

Bryston or Parasound, huh? Good "sound" stuff there...
