Found one for 250.00 in good condition but includes junky integrated, tape deck, CD player, and Sony box speakers. Thoughts....worth it or wait until I'm ready to get back into vinyl.....

This was an estate sale and they will not split up set....

Seems a bit steep if all you want out of the sale is the table.2 Channel - Polk SDA-2BTL, Carver TFM-35, Peachtree iDAC, Qobuz streamed via Episode Lynk using bubble UPnP server

If it were me I'd pass. As always YMMV

The D2 was the entry level DD Technics of its time and is a good basic/starter tt but somewhat plastic-y IMO. Not worth 250 smackers per se; without knowing what the other, ancillary equipment is it's impossible to say whether the lot's worth it.
Maybe the junky integrated is something like this? ;- )

For $250, you can do better. That TT is definitely not worth that kind of money.

I can't speak for the other items, but you can find SL-D2s in my neck of the woods on CL with decent cartridges in the 100.00 range quite frequently. Seldom do I see them go for more than 125.00.Living Room

Just kidding..well, if you REALLY want it.....
I bought one of these new and still own it. Like most TT's, the sounds depends on the cartridge more than anything. Wasn't Technics top-of-the-line model, but it spins the platter and tracks the grooves.
As far as price, I think you can do better than the price you stated. There a LOTS of vintage TT's around in the $100 to $150 range that I would recommend over this one. Now, at $100 with a decent cartridge.....

In the late 70's or early 80's I bought one new with a audio technica cart for I think it was 135$. I cant remember if it was on closeout or not. It was a solid table for its price.
What are the models of the other pieces that come with it?
Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.
