1.2 or 1.2TL's?

The seller states in the ad that these are 1.2's he bought originally in 1988. The date of purchase would put these in the date range of 1.2's but possibly right at the beginning of the 1.2TL first production year of 89'. The tweeters appear to be SL3000's and the bolt pattern on the XO appears to be that of a 1.2TL.

The bolt pattern doesn't mean anything if they are 1.2's as the 1.2's used both the 9 and 13 bolt crossover plate.
They could be TL's but I don't think so as the 1.2TL's came out in 1989. Anyway can you go look?
Either way if there in good working condition (no blown tweeters or frozen drivers) and you can pick them up what are you doing hanging around here.“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” ~ Mark Twain -

With SDA's the serial numbers don't really mean anything as far as what they are and when they were made also I think they were model specific anyway.
The only way to tell is to go look at them, get some really pictures or ask the seller to pull a tweeter and look at the model number.
The picture of the tweeters are just not good enough to tell, They could be RDO-194's

They are in TJ Mexico just across the border from San Diego. You now have to have a passport to cross the border. Too bad mine's expired. They appear to be in excellent cosmetic shape though. Price isn't outrageous. I honestly am not too interested in them given the logistics though. I really love my 2.3TL's with all of the modifications.......and this would just open up another rabbit hole.____________________________________________________________

go get 'em dude... they don't check ID at the border anyway. Funny that a citizen needs to prove they live here but an illegal can just smile and walk on thru, but that is another story....
I might be up for a set of 2.3's for surround duty. The Gear... It would be a shame to waste the 2.3's in surround duty. They need a place to sing loudly, not diffuse sound. You should hear them with the dreadnaught!____________________________________________________________

How's this for irony last I checked you don't a passport to go to Canada or Mexico, You need it to get back in.It would be a shame to waste the 2.3's in surround duty. They need a place to sing loudly, not diffuse sound. You should hear them with the dreadnaught!
