    It has so far just cost me search time on comparing the lsim line. I keep riding the fence on changing from my lsim703 for a new set of the 705. Was gonna blow it on a 660 sub but they were OOS. only a few more days to ride the fence...lol...

    Nuttin, I gave it away. But last week, I did get a psw505 from the egg. A new cherry csi3 from Polk direct is supposed to arrive on Friday, and I got an Emotiva cmx-2 power conditioner a couple of weeks ago. I have to admit the Emotiva made drastic improvements in sq and also solved my intermittent tranny hum. :D

    2 sets of Ultra 8000's. That way I can stop using the ones from my Walkman. The foam was getting a little ratty anyways. I really wanted a set of 703's, but hardly have room for the 1C's and with nowhere to put them I will have to wait, unfortunately.
    And yes, one set is for the spousal unit.

    I ordered a pair of 705's a 706C and a pair of 702 F/X's. Ordered on 11/26/14, was told they shipped yesterday. I still don't see tracking numbers and customer service is swamped. I called corporate and spoke to a manager and he personally took care of my issue... He was very helpful. I see they finally charged me today so it looks like something happened.They will get here and they will be awesome. FYI The 706 and 702's will ship fedex and the big boys will be shipped common carrier probably from CA.

    The posts are PVC and the base and tops are MDF... Talk to Noel and he will make them any size and shape you want.. The ones I purchased are 28" hi and the top plate tapers in width from front to back like the 703's do....filled them with sand and they are SOLID.
