is my midrange blown?

I have a pair of RTI 10 speakers. the midrange driver on one speaker has started to make a noise similar to a kazoo ( musical instrument that vibrates a paper membrane when blowing through it) at a certain frequency. I swapped midrange drivers between speakers to make sure problem is with driver. What could the problem be, and is it repairable? if not repairable, what is a replacement going to cost me. Am in New Zealand.

Sounds like a bad midrange. In the past, I had a woofer with the same issue. Check with Polk customer service for the cost plus shipping.
