FS: B&K Reference, PS Audio GCPH, Dared sl-2000a

I know gear isn't moving too quickly on here, but I thought I'd throw them up before I try other sites.

All three of these pieces I purchased through the forum and have been very happy with all of them.

It is actually very hard to sell these, but since I purchased an integrated recently, I need to sell these to fund that

First up is a B&K Reference 200.2 amplifier. Excellent condition. Original packaging and power cord. This one is truly hard to part with. It was my first real amplifier and opened my ears to many things. I tried to move on to a few different amps, but always came back to this one.

$525 plus shipping and paypal

Next up is a PS Audio GCPH phono stage. Excellent condition. Original packaging, power cord and remote. This can be connected directly into a power amp either balance or unbalanced. This phono stage sounds PHENOMENAL, and I will miss it dearly. So many different tweaks and options on this one, plus its own volume control makes it extremely versatile.

Finally, the Dared SL-2000a. Excellent condition. This was Heiny9's pride and joy. It is the preferred older version from what I was told. My first tubes of any sort and I enjoyed it for the short time I've had it. I think tubes are just down the road for me a bit, however. For whatever reason, it sounded good with my 705's, but sounded MAGICAL with my SDA 2A's.

(The Mullards and the TFK's both started making a scratchy 'white' noise that made them unlistenable within the first few weeks of getting them. Not sure if a tube went bad or what so I am throwing them in for free)

As a FYI, there ARE still parts/schematics/manuals available for B&K amplifiers through ATI.


I've recently been in contact with them and used them to get some schematics and parts for my 500.2 so I know for a fact they are still available.

This amp is AWESOME, and if I had any thoughts about going 7.1 at some point, I'd snag this in a heartbeat.

On top of that Pauls a GREAT guy, so buy with confidence.

It's a powerhouse and you won't ever need to upgrade from it.

Couldn't agree more! I've sold a few things here that I probably could have sold quicker and for more elsewhere, and on the flip-side, I've also bought some really nice stuff here (including your Oppo BDP-83 which is awesome, by the way) at some great prices. It's the shared interest and generous, kind folks that makes the forum (even the new version...) so great.

I actually considered your B&K, knowing what a great seller you are. Instead, I'm buying Rooftop's Parasound - the more practical 'next step' to getting my feet wet with separates.

Congrats on the sale(s) & good luck with the remaining one!
