CRS+ mods nearing completion - question

I'm using Gimpod's boards which are quite large. As this physically limits placement within the cabinet I'm a little concerned about the effects of the speaker magnets on the inductors, how it might do weird things to the sound. With the placement I have now the distance between the nearest magnet and inductor is around 4 inches.
I'm thinking about wrapping the MW speaker magnets with Mu-metal or a similar product as a way of shielding the magnetic field. Can anyone see a downside to this, or have any advice to give either from experience or EE knowledge?
Thanks!

Should have also asked about wrapping the SDA inductor - good idea or not?"Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer

I can only reply that I copied Larry's method for mounting Tony's boards in the CRS+ cabinet, and I certainly haven't noticed any issues, and speaking for Larry I don't think he has either. My advice would be to proceed as planned and if you find any issues maybe go back and revisit. But I think you'll be fine without worrying about this.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

OK then, advice from two CRS+ masters. I'll consider it a non-issue. Almost done with these - hope to get them connected and making sound this weekend.
I mounted the boards a little differently in an attempt to maximize the distance between the small inductors and the Solen SDA inductor. I have them on the floor of the cabinet. Something I didn't think about is these speakers are mirror imaged (like all SDA's) which means I had to really play with board placement, as it was a little different for each speaker.
Pics once they're up and running."Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer -
Looking forward to the pics. I'm going to be reworking my CRS+s soon, and may go completely off the ranch with them.Home Theater/2 Channel:
