For months after deb passed, i could not move anything of hers, other than antiques I had to sell to make the bills.
Im now able to rearrange the living room to optimize the sound from my electronics and sda 1cs.
BTW I have a bunch of cds that will be for sale, many of which are jazz such as stan getz, Wynton Marsalis, the 4 cd collection of the 1967 monterey jazz festival, some Toby Keith, and mary chapin carpenter, mulligan meets monk, stephane grapelli and many others including yanni.
They will be in the fm as soon as i can categorize them.
this is how i now have the setup in the living room now, thinkin about using some of the grandma made quilts on the walls behind everything to begin some taming and reflection of sound in the room.
Any advice on cheap padding to mount behind the quilts to deaden the room is most welcome, remember that I have a limited budget, so any tips or tricks are most appreciated.
One last thing, I have the ability to move all the electronics to the other side of the wall, with only the speaker wires coming through the wall, so there is no obstruction or interference.

Nice to see ya posting up Scotty. No comments on the DIY sound diffusers, but I know we have a few threads around on them if you do a search or hopefully some of those guys will chime in.

I'll second that Scotty, great to see you here. I'm no expert on sound panels and the like, but Acoustical Foam Egg Crate is very inexpensive, and the quilts would cover it easily.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Hey Scotty, good to see you my friend. I think that set up looks pretty dang sharp.
I kinda like looking at my gear while I'm listening so I'd leave it where it is. Not to hard to get some zip ties or velcro straps to tidy the cords up a bit.
But of course up to you, bud.

Moving on is tough Scotty, but you're doing the right thing. Re: wire management, you want to make sure that if IC's have to cross PC's they do so at right angles.
