IHT-3000 Soundbar Noises

We recently changed our Time Warner DVR boxes and now our IHT-3000 soundbar makes a very annoying screeching/zapping type sound when we fast forward, rewind, or change channels. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this? Thanks

    Hello,
    Welcome to Polk's forum. I would venture that the problem is not with the Polk speaker, but with the DVR. It should mute the output when it's not in play mode and it sounds as though that's not happening with this one. I'd get it exchanged if it were me.
