Polk Audio DSW550WI Trouble

I have had a DSW550WI Pro for almost 3 years now and have absolutely loved it. For a 10" woofer I am constantly surprised at how good it sounds.

Now I am having trouble with it. Moved to a new house, made it safe and sound, hooked it up, works great. Fast forward 4 months later. Decide to move the tv and tuner, a Yamaha RX-V2700, to the recessed area above the fireplace. Due to some extreme wiring challenges I decided to buy the OEM wireless adapter kit for this sub (PWSK1), worked great for about 3 days, now I am facing some challenges.

The sub now turns completely off after about 10 seconds or so powers off, then in about 30 or so seconds powers back off. Rinse and Repeat. I have tried powering off the sub (via switch on the back). Removed the Wireless adapter. Tried it with and without an RCA cable (instead of the wireless adapter). Keeps doing the same thing.

One thing to note is that when the sub is powered on (for the 30 seconds or so) it works fine and pushes base if a show is on.

What does the collective think? Is there anything I can do to work on this myself or is a pro needed?

Thanks all!

I'm sorry you're having a problem. It would be best to contact Polk's CS department at 1-800-377-7655 or via email to: polkcs@polkaudio.com
Since the bass amplifier has a three year warranty have your date and place of purchase handy when you call or send an email. Polk will solve the problem.
