Wiring question SRS 2.3 (Non-TL)

I have a potential customer with a set of SRS 2.3s. He has the original Doughnut Drivers, MW6513, which are 4 ohm. The other two drivers are MW6510s which are 8 ohms. He has tested all the drivers out of the cabinet, and they all function. Once installed, the doughnuts don't produce any sound. I sent him the Schematics, and the left and right wiring diagrams. According to him, they're wired according to the diagrams. I'm a bit baffled. The Dimensional circuit is supposed to be 4 ohm total. Not sure how you can do that with two 4 ohm and two 8 ohm drivers. Seems to me, they should all be 4 ohm drivers in a series/parallel configuration.
Any advice would be appreciated.

The dimensional speakers are a separate circuit and don't do mid bass like other SRS speakers do. The mid bass drivers are wired to the inducer directly. They are very Similar to an original SDA 2 operation. I rewired mine to eliminate the mid bass drivers and to make the dimension drivers do mid bass also.
Basically I duplicated a 1.2 low pass and I'm very happy with it."Make a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day. Light

This quote might help with the resistance of each drivers ohm ratings. A 6513 is a 6511 with mass added I believe. These are the only drivers, aside from the RD tweeters, being manufactured to support vintage products, such as, Monitor, RTA and SDA. You should print this as a reference and keep it handy for the values it contains. There are no grill parts, cables, crossovers, plates or anything else available for the older loudspeakers, unless you know the Polk G O D.

That makes no sense to me. You mean the doughnut drivers are wired to the 16.8mh inductor, separately from the two dimensional drivers? I don't have the harness in front of me, so I can't diagnose what I can't see. I wish Polk had the diagram of the harness. The dimensional drivers are not connected to the sub-base drive circuit?Home Theater/2 Channel:

I have all those, and that makes sense, since he measured the 6513 as 4 ohm nominal.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Exactly. The doughnut drivers are wired to the 16.8mh inductor, separately from the two dimensional drivers. The dimensional drivers are not connected to the sub-base drive circuit. They are separate circuits.
If you look closely at the schematics you can see the mid bass wire for the 16.8mh inductor jumps over the dimensional driver wire.

I have the schematic already, and I'm beginning to understand what you're saying. The two 6510s are wired in parallel, to the dimensional circuit, and the 6513s are wired in Series, as a separate circuit, and wired through the 16.8 MH Inductor?

That was what I found and why I hot-rodded mine to have a 1.2 low pass instead.
If you compare the crossovers you'll see it's a simple mod to do and its an existing Polk design."Make a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day. Light
a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life." -
They only operate below 150Hz
Which may be why he thinks he's not hearing anything from them.
