Help with HT Setup
I'm new to audio setup and been thinking about getting a 7.2 surround sound setup.
I'm set on getting the Onkyo TX-NR626 as my amp.
My living room does not have a left wall since it opens to the nook which opens to kitchen. So I can't mount speakers at ear level but I can either get OWM3 using mounts and point them down at the listening area, or get RC80i and point the tweeters down.
I like the RC80i because they will be in the ceiling and I won't have anything hanging down.
I'm thinking about getting the Polk OWM3 as my rear. I don't mind them since they will be mounted in the corner of ceiling to back wall.
Center channel will be the Polk CS10. I plan to get two Polk Subwoofers, probably the PWS10.
I will also invest in some floorstanding speakers.
I'm more concern should I use the RC80i or the OWM3 as my side speakers? Should I go OWM3 all the way around or even RC80i all the way around?

If you don't have the speakers yet, I would match speakers if possible. The in ceiling models do seem like they would work better with no speakers being shown. The RC 80is have a ball and socket tweeter mount that lets you swivel the tweeter toward your seating for better directional control of the signal.

Dont get the psw10. Combine the money you would spend and buy one better sub. There are a lot of good subs that will be in the $300-$400 range.HT Rig Samsung 64F8500 |Pioneer Elite BDP-52FD|Pioneer Elite VSX-32| Two Carver TFM-15cb Bridged for mains|Polk Audio RTiA5 Cherry|Polk Audio CsiA6 Cherry|Polk Audio T-15 Heights|Polk Audio FXia6 Surround|DIY 8cuft Dayton Ultimax 15" powered with a Crown XLS1000
