SB 5000 Randomly powering off

Had this unit a year maybe. Has good sound but past few days it has been powering off by itself. Random intervals but within minutes it will shut off again. It is connected to my Panasonic Viera Plasma via optical. Seems to be happening with recorded DVR programs. Never done this before and have had no recent changes to cable box. Any ideas?
