I'd hazard a guess they are franken Polk..... I dont remember polk using any drivers THAT small except for SDA's, and the passive looks wrong."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Mini-Monitors from the 70s. The were often used in cars too. Peerless Tweeter, and 4.5" drivers from Rola or CTS, with the PR made by Polk from the same 4.5" driver baskets.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Westmass is right. I've got a set that will be my rear surrounds in my HT when I get some time to redo the surrounds on the active drivers. Great sound in a small size box.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

The original MiniMonitors had a trapezoidal cabinet; later ones had a simple rectangular box; cannot tell which these are.
Neat little loudspeakers -- I'd love to have a pair for the collection (but I haven't seen any for literally decades myself).

The rectangular box version of these were my first pair of Polks. Sounded incredible in the back of my 73 Nova 32 years ago or so. Wish I still had them.SDA 2B-TL (Sonicap/Solen/Mills, Erse Super Q, Rings, Spikes, No-Rez)

Looks to be the rectangular box Mini Monitor. The trapezoidal cabinet had the Polk badge affixed on the long side of the foam grill as it was meant to sit horizontally. It had the Peerless tweet located in the middle also.

ooh. you're right -- I forgot all of those details (although I should've remembered the position of the tweeters).
Years and years ago I had a product data sheet on the MiniMonitors... but that one apparently never made the trip from Baltimore to CA, much less to MA or NH.
