receiver dual sub out question

I'm looking at going dual subs. My receiver (Pioneer Sc67) has dual sub outputs but I understand that sometimes those can be split signal rather than actual two separately controlled channels. Can anyone confirm whether the Pioneer has two actual channels or splits a single signal. The manual hints that it may just be a split signal in which case, I can just daisy chain two subs vs. running a separate line.

Run both feeds directly back to the SC-67, don't daisy chain.
As mentioned , the SC-67 only has one LFE out but has 2 Sub outs, this is a internal splitter.
Side note I think Pioneer should have included true Dual Sub out's like the mighty SC-09TX had. Pioneer has not produced a AVR that has dual subs out True since that model. The SC-79 from last year and brand new SC-89 Should not bare the "9" model number since neither of them are a Preamp and amp one chassis , or have true Dual sub outs. I have a huge issue with this. I got all excited when they released the SC-79 as I was going to upgrade my SC-68 due to the internal splitter only to find out Pioneer just changed the model number to "9" for no reason at all.
