PSW404 Sound In and Out

I have noticed over the last year that my PSW404 stops working from time to time. Usually, I can flip the power switch and it comes back on. The same procedure now only works for a few seconds, if at all.
Power light is always on, even when no sound. Input was isolated and working properly. Any thoughts?

Hello,
It is possible the "auto on/off" is not working properly. Check with Polk's CS department to see if they are offering service on that model.
Their number is 1-800-377-7655.

Thanks Kenneth. I will give them a call.
Interestingly, I played around a little more with it this weekend. What I found is that when turned off, then back on. Exactly 5 seconds later it will turn on for 1-2 seconds. I doesn't matter if I use the switch (both "auto on" and "on") or unplug it. Either way, count to five... on, then back off.Receiver: Pioneer Elite SC-05

Spoke with CS today and unfortunately the answer is no, as many parts are now unavailable.
He was very intrigued by the symptoms noted above, but through discussion we were unable to isolate any likely causes. Only option would be replacement of the amp, but the cost of the part far exceeds value given prices of new subs or maybe a nice craigslist score.Receiver: Pioneer Elite SC-05
