I am currently running the Denon AVR e-300 receiver with the audyssey automatic set-up. I have two questions:
1. I am getting a lot of white noise/static sound out of my surrounds (Dayton B652s)
2. I am having to turn the AVR to almost 80 (out of 100 - 80%) volume level just to get to a reasonable listening level - left and right speakers are the Andrew Jones Pioneer towers.
I have checked and double check each wire connection several times. Is this normal?
Also, this is in my bedroom, basically a 12x12 with a small open (no door) closet.

Go back into your receivers menu and turn the speaker levels to 0. You can't take that automatic setup as gospel.HT SYSTEM-
