    Mine came in on Wednesday. They were a bïtch to install because of all the glue I had to clear out in order to make room for em', but other than that they're a joy. Thanks Larry.

    Here's a thought to those who haven't yet installed their rings (not my idea, I just copy what others have done!):

    You can mask off the studs that will fit in your drilled-out holes and spray the rings with some paint to prevent any oxidation. Depending on your local humidity/proximity to salt water this may be less, or more useful.

    I hit mine with some hammer-finish Rustoleum.

    Thanks Toolfan... Rings arrived last Thursday. I didn't know what the rings without the threaded inserts were for at first. They're guides to assist in drilling the holes, am I right? nice... very nice

    I experienced the same thing, so it must be some sort of glitch. The last communication we had was that you prefer paypal. Haven't used paypal to buy from a private person...Only Amazon.
