Polkies near the Southern border, heads up IMPORTANT...

From the National Review:

Judicial Watch has just put out this statement:

Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle born improvised explosive devices (VBIED). High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources have confirmed to Judicial Watch that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

Specifically, Judicial Watch sources reveal that the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) is confirmed to now be operating in Juarez, a famously crime-infested narcotics hotbed situated across from El Paso, Texas. Violent crimes are so rampant in Juarez that the U.S. State Department has issued a number of travel warnings for anyone planning to go there. The last one was issued just a few days ago.

Intelligence officials have picked up radio talk and chatter indicating that the terrorist groups are going to “carry out an attack on the border,” according to one JW source. “It’s coming very soon,” according to this high-level source, who clearly identified the groups planning the plots as “ISIS and Al Qaeda.” An attack is so imminent that the commanding general at Ft. Bliss, the U.S. Army post in El Paso, is being briefed, another source confirms. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) did not respond to multiple inquiries from Judicial Watch, both telephonic and in writing, about this information.

The disturbing inside intelligence comes on the heels of news reports revealing that U.S. intelligence has picked up increased chatter among Islamist terror networks approaching the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Believe me I am not taking a shot here, but this information is from Judicial Watch and not the Government... Where is our Government? Most people will look at this and say "hey isn't Judicial Watch that bunch of right wing loons who are trying to bring down Lois Lerner and the IRS"?

Whatever happened to Homeland Security issuing "Amber Alerts" and such? I fear there are more bad people than ever in position to put a hurt on America and our way of life... This is some scary stuff here ladies and gents...Oh well I guess I'll go play golf now...

If it is true, it's long overdue. No one on either side seems to be interested in securing the borders.

Homeland Security?? What a joke...on the same par as free gift...or jumbo shrimp...we either fight them over there or over here...we will have to fight them regardless....it's time to lock and load people...just remember that the enemy will always show up where we are least expecting....history has proven that....

For the sake of keeping this critical info available fellas, lets not take a political spin on it--it'll get locked. Everyone is aware of that debate and has personal beliefs about it. Vote with your feet.

I can imagine Border Patrol agents are pretty frustrated, these folks work hard and get little credit. They handle illegals in a very gentle manner, 95% of the time, but once in awhile they have "runners" though they usually give up upon being identified by BP, and go with them without incident. They are immediately given water. We have daily exposure to the Border Patrol, and they cover an extreme amount of land that is not fenced. Mostly all of Sonora that borders Cochise county is open desert, sans the border crossing areas; Nogales, Aqua Prieta, Naco, etc.

I would advise against attending any near border type festivals, large gatherings, concentrations of people--as the terrorists love maximum participation for maximum "effect." We still have knuckleheads going to Mexico, as much as they have been warned to stay out---and of course they'll be the first pleading for help when things go south (no pun intended) and they're stuck down there.

Again, if I see any official guidance/warnings, I'll pass it along. Be safe my Texas, New Mexico, Az, and California Polkies.

Arizonans appreciate a fine piece of artillery, and the bad guys might be in for quite a shock if they make that grave error. When it comes to security of State and Country we DO NOT play.

Maybe not, but under this Attorney General....you'd be the one going to jail.

Nothing our government does makes sense anymore. BTW, how can you talk southern borders/terrorist groups without injecting politics ? Some simply have a hard time seeing the forest with all those darn trees in the way.

  • As a proud, gun toting Texan, I encourage ISIS to give it their best shot. They'll find more than one rifle behind every blade of grass, and we don't own trashy hand-me-down AKs.
  • My sons school was on lockdown this past Wednesday, due to a terror threat. Nothing came of it, of course, but the threat wasn't typical for our area.
Here is a link to the story, if you happen to be interested.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant
