Toolfan; have you ever thought of doing any front mount rings to go along with the rear mounting rings you've done? This would help stiffen the frame mounting area of the driver baskets and compress the seal better. I have done some before but don't have the proper tooling and it just would take me way too long to build for my SRS and 1.2TL's, being that the front mount rings really should be finished very well for aesthetic purposes. If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of Progress?!

I built some front rings, and showed the process in a thread on this site. No-one else seemed interested at the time, so I ended that project with enough for my speakers.

I was going to tap and super glue threads into the mdf board or t nuts that's what we did at boeing when I was building the test cockpit for the Raptor WF22 so the air force could see what the layout for the new plane was but your rings are far better ! costs on 32- 6.5" rings and two 18" rings ? if you have them that big my new front panel is a glued 3/4" mdf and a 3/4" 7 ply plywood to hold the sixteen 6.5" and one18" speakers
