Whats up everyone?
I just picked one of these up in Red with Black Interior. I just got out of my Murano SV which was amazing to own. I loved that vehicle and almost got another one. The Pathfinder is a bit bigger , gets better gas milage by just a bit and rides like a dream. It rides just a bit heavier then the Murano did.
I like having the 3rd row of seating back. Not that I use it a lot but it's nice when your going out and need just those 2 more seats.
It's of 7 people but I feel it better suited for 6 comfortable.
This is my 3rd Pathfinder , I had a 2005 SE and a 2008 SE. This one is more like the Murano then the older Pathfinders. I'm gonna snap some picks of it later.

I love my '08 Xterra since we bought it new, but always wished I had opted for the Pathfinder.

Nicer ride, extra seats, little more interior style. Eh, maybe next time.

Congrats on the new vehicle Dan.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

I have a 2010 Pathfinder and it's OK. It was a hand-me-down, otherwise I would not have bought it. The 3rd row is not that spacious. And when the 3rd row is up there's not a lot of room in the trunk. Comparing to my 2012 Pilot, the 3rd row has more room and you can actually use the trunk for something when the 3rd row is up. Plus the pilot gets better gas mileage, is overall roomier, and rides quieter. The only thing I don't like about the Pilot is that the center console is congested and at times confusing,

The Bose system in the Pathfinder is alright. I wish they would just run the EQ flat and not try to adjust the balance for optimal listening of the driver. There are some songs that just doesn't sound good on it. I am also constantly fighting with the AC and the main display loves to change for the next use to some useless mode where most of the info is hidden. For some reason, showing a pretty background is better than displaying a bit of useful info.

Here is a Shot From After we saw the Movie "Into the Storm" Which was awesome by the way. Intense Twisters , not as good of a movie as "Twister" was but it was Still damn Intense
    IMG_8107_zps74697022.jpg

This is before we went to the Movies, I took a Shot from the Mud Room Door.
    IMG_8104_zps5babc63f.jpg

This Shot was taken in my Driveway , I don't like Tire Dressing even more so when it's done so POORLY as this is. The Dealership Detailers are not the best I've seen. Each time I get a new car, I basically have to re clean it from head to toe.

Which one did you get? I got a SV with floor mats, Tire Locks , Roof Cross bars ( I have to pick them up next week) Trailer Hitch ( another thing they got to put on) Rear Bumper cover the chrome one and thats it.
I gave up the Roof Option as I didn't want to go deeper into my payment. I wanted to stay where I was or lower and this one came in 1 dollar less then my Murano was.
I do however wouldn't have minded the Roof Option as I actually have had them in my last 4 vehicles. It feels a bit weird not to open the sun roof.

I actually considered going with a brand new Xterra. I drove a nicely equipped S series with a Tow package , value package etc. it was White with Gray interior. It kinda reminded me of my older Pathfinder but not as nice. Lots of plastic plain and not that comfortable. It drove like a Truck thats for sure. Nothing like the Murano or New Pathfinder,
I honestly didn't care for it. I love how it looks on the outside all rugged and tuff. I really wanted to like it but the interior and ride are not for me.

The Murano's are amazing. I loved mine as well. I traded it with 37k on it. I was a bit sad to leave it there. I kept it in the Garage and in perfect as possible condition. But the New pathfinders Ride and drive is a step up from the Murano IMO. It's quieter , bigger , drives heavier yet feel nimble if that makes any sense.
I really like how big it is in the inside. Plenty of Room and much more then the Murano.

I had a 2008 Pathfinder SE and I loved it very much. It was killer in the snow, it was nicely fast for a Truck , it had 0 issues , comfortable and I really liked the fold down 3rd row.
The New Pathfinder is very different yet does have some triads from the older models. It rides way better and is much quieter. I can't believe how quite it is when your driving down the highway. I really like that about it and something you don't really notice on a test drive until you drive drive it.

So I only have 58 miles on it and I feel compelled to write a short yet detailed review.
The New pathfinder is one hell of a nice ride. I was going back and forth between the Rouge , Frontier, Xterra and then back to the Pathfinder.
My goal was to lower my monthly payments , Get better mileage keep the same or more interior cargo room , try to stay around the SV series of options.
Well I lowered my payment by 1 dollar LOL I told the wife I did great LOL. I gained maybe 1 to 3 MPH so thats a bit better , I got a beautiful new truck in exactly the color I wanted.
I hate it when you go to the dealer ship , plan on a certain option package and colors and they don't have that in stock. I have been settling on my 2nd or third choice over the years and this time I wanted what I wanted and that was that. I walked away from the dealer ship last month as they where trying to get me into the Blue one. It almost happened this time as they had a Blue one loaded exactly how I built it on line and was shocked how exact it was except the color. I wanted that red with black interior or I wasn't getting one.
Mine however didn't have the roof cross bars installed or a Tow Hitch. No big deal Monday I will have Crossbars on it from the factory and a 2 inch Tow Hitch. I need the Tow hitch as I Mountain bike ride and my Rack is a 2 inch .

So after owning 2 Pathfinders and a Murano over the last 9 years , This new Pathfinder is the best drivability one by far. It drive so comfortable and floats down the road. It's amazingly quite and takes small bumps so nicely. I was really shocked how good it was in these areas compared to the Murano which by the way is also awesome to Drive. I really love my Murano and kinda considered getting another one. I did that with the Pathfinder from 05 and 08 which basically where the same with some upgrades to the SE package. Both had Built in 2 inch Tow Hitches. The Murano I had to have them put a after market one on it which was great and worked excellent.

So you can't really go on and one after 58 miles right? I feel I would write all night how happy yet a small part of me is sad.
Not having the Glass roof is bothering me just a little. I had a Sunroof in my BMW , both Pathfinders and my Murano had the dual glass roof with the front being a Sunroof.
The SV package now doesn't even offer a Roof Option. Thats kinda sucks. It also doesn't have front Driving Fog lights. I don't really like that either. I'm sure I can have them Installed it it bothers me anymore then it already does. I'm willing to pay for them to put in the factory lights as they look awesome with the Chrome rings. Without the Driving lights they put these painted in certs there and as they match , they don't look as good as the lights do. So I'll most likely ask for them when I get the Hitch and Roof Cross bars on.
By the way the Cross bars is a huge problem for me and I expressed it to the dealership in length. They gave me them for free as I was mad that the SV package comes with the Roof rails but not the cross bars. How retarded is Nissan not Including them with the luggage rack? Why even bother putting on half the rack? What good is it? I went on and on about it as it pissed me off and the only answer I got was " It looks cool with the rails, it gives it a really nice look". I basically without cursing said "Eff those rails , they are useless without the Cross bars". They willingly threw them in the deal. I use the roof rack and even if I didn't use it often I sure the hell wouldn't want half of it installed and then the day I went to use it , I was beat. I brought up Christmas and how the hell would I pt my tree on a half of Rack? You should have heard me go off about it. Even after they put them in the deal I wasn't done letting everyone know how stupid I though it was.

Sweet looking ride Dan, it's the same color of the wife's Rouge, hers has that black interior also were looking to trade hers in and test drove a Pathfinder, Murano, and Rouge, I thought the Pathfinder was a nice ride, trying to talk her into the Pathfinder, but she's a Rouge kind of gal, and I have a feeling she will get the Rouge, in red with the same black interior when the time comes. Oh and thanks to this thread me the wife and grandson will be leaving to see the first showing of Into The Storm. ;) only $5.50 per person if you catch the first showing of the day looking forward to this movie, hey nice looking GT hanging on the wall there.

We got the base model. Still has lots of amenities, 4x4, power everything. Leased it for 300 mo, sign and drive. Wife really likes it and we will probably end up buying it out.

    I really enjoyed the movie.
I looked at the Rouge and almost got one myself. My man card was a bit in question but I didn't care as that thing is very nice. Not the Select but the new body style. I was checking out the SL model with a roof fully loaded.

Man, that '14 Pathfinder is a serious looker on the road. Nice purchase! Have you seen the 2015 Murano? What do you think?

I'm the Son of an autoworker and born and raised in Detroit and have only bought one import in my life. It was a BMW 318Ti ages ago. Today, given that most every company out there makes nice cars and the so called imports like Nissan are designing and building vehicles here in the US I think I might buy one. I really and I mean REALLY like the 2014 Rogue or the '13-'14 Hyundai Santa Fe for the wife. The quality, safety, MPG, and feedback from the Press is just outstanding on both those vehicles. I have a cousin in TN that works for Nissan and of course he has great things to say about them.

Myself, I'm torn between the '13-'14 Toyota Avalon and '14-'15 Chevy Impala for me. Will find a great price on something used in time. Our current cars are getting old so maybe next year I will start to seriously look. Even considering the 40 MPG Hybrid Avalon.

My Murano was very comfortable to drive. You could be behind the wheel for hours and enjoy every minute. I haven't driven the Pathfinder enough yet to know this to be true but so far I think it might be more comfortable.

I tried to wait for the new Murano but I just couldn't. I kept getting letters from Nissan trade in the Murano and get top dollar. Not to mention I went to the dealership considering a Xterra and Drove out with the Pathfinder.
The new Rouge is awesome as I just about pulled the trigger one a really nice Blue one with Black interior fully loaded SL.

I wanted to stay in the Nissan family but i couldn't justify the pricetag for a vehicle im going to rack up 30,000miles a year. We test drove the 2014 Pathfinder and did enjoy it. At the end of the day, i'm the not so proud owner of a 2015 Subaru Legacy.... :(

I really enjoyed and miss my Frontier.

We are considering the pathfinder too. Although I must say it doesn't look much like a pathfinder anymore, more along the lines of streetfinder.
We are also going to look at the Highlander.

There are still some Pathfinder things here and there. This is my 3rd Pathfinder and Honestly this one drive better then the other 2 by far. I got some pet peeves with it but they don't out weigh all the wonderful things about it.

Going Streetfinder is fine with me, I don't off road and I'm sure it's awesome in the snow. My Murano was a beast in the snow.
