Those look and "sound" like the ones that were on the Gainesville, FL Craig's List.

Thanks, I removed a tweeter says made in 89. Will remove a crossover next. So there looks to be 9 bolts holding in, Do I remove all
but the middle one? Then just pull the plate out?

*Oh crap, did not mean to uplad such a huge photo.

If you remove one of the front panels (do not remove the center bolt) you will find a number on the crossover, either BE2000-B or BE2000-C.

I can tell you that those mid-drivers have been removed before. The two wire leads should be pointing down and yours are all over the place. You should remove all the mid-drivers to check they are the proper ones in the proper place, but first pull a crossover to see which model you have.

Pulled all the mids, they are all on the correct ones and on the correct sides of the speakers. Will pull the crossover and check that later today or tomorrow. Also need to fix the problem with the broken terminal on the rear of one, which is also missing the plastic nuts that hold the wires.. Will get the tweeters eventually , Think I am going to replace them all with the RDO-198's'. The originals were the sl3000 and the guy did replace them with sl2000.

If you pull one tweeter and note the size of the terminals you will have your answer whether they are 1.2 TL's or 1.2's. If both posts are the same size, you have 1.2's. If one post is bigger than the other, you have 1.2 TL's. That's taking into consideration that no mods were done to begin with....

In all likelihood you have 1.2 TL's. Just to be sure, can you pull an SL2000 tweeter and note the size of each wire? There should be a wide one and a skinny one. If that's the case, you have 1.2TL's without a doubt. You'll notice an immediate improvement in sound quality by replacing all the tweeters with the RD-0198's.
