A great actor indeed. RIPPolitical Correctness'.........defined

RIP James.. loved Rockford files back in the day

What I find astonishing, is just how easy it is to watch The Rockford Files today. No gore or blood covered body parts, no special effects (well, some driving stunts, I would suppose), no flashy weapons. Just a good story, and the acting. He played a quintessentially American character, in a uniquely American debonair style ... the equivalent maybe of Roger Moore for the British in The Persuaders or as James Bond. Star Wars hasn't aged that well!
Never got a chance to watch Maverick or some of his other roles, unfortunately.
The Rockford Files is available on Netflix for streaming.Alea jacta est! -

Very sad day indeed. James Garner , always regarded as a wonderful actor ,gentleman on and off the set. Women all over the world adored him. A real class act , very few actors of this caliber any more. God's Speed, R.I.P. Jim .

Liked the man too. A good story and a great cast is a combination not easily met in todays world. He had a lot of health issues all along his career, but the man never quit doing what he loved. RIP James....you will be missed.HT SYSTEM-

Phenominal actor! R.I.P James.
Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
