I can't believe I didn't see this thread sooner. Nice to see a fellow PBN owner. One of the best kept secrets in the speaker biz. I can relate to the OP's ear to ear grin. I saw it in the mirror after I listened to mine for the first time.

Hey 98 Badger , yes the grin has remained the same as my 100 hour burn in period gas come and gone, and yes remained the same as it couldn't get any grinnier (yes I made that wied up) than it was day 1. sure these babies are warming up more and more every day, and after adding a new way of listening to Pandora, that grin almost cracked my face off. (Thanks to brother deron) I now have my music server serving it up first class. I will do a review on the Houdini machine soon.

Yes, it's nice to see another member owning a world class product and made in the USA all the way!!! I am still in awe with the sound and build and everything about the PNB company. Cheers and do post pics. I plan on the next model up in the chain for my living room within the year here so am I a fan.......of course. Thanks for coming out of that Montana closet!!! lol

johnny, no offense man, but if you're dropping several grand on a pair of speakers, you don't want to feed them with Pandora. I love Pandora and listen to it all day at work, but its a travesty to play it on your system now. Look into ripping CD's to a hard drive or computer and find a way to stream THAT music to your speakers.

If you're content, then enjoy the hell out of it I guess.

Thanks, This new Cambridge player allows for me to do Just that, but hearing Pandora this sweet is such ear candy I am afraid if it gets any sweeter I'll be dropping several grand with my dentist on cavities so for the meantime, this set up just sends this boy to mars.

BTW, who said I dropped several grand on my speakers??

Got a chance to hear Johnnies new speaks today. Very impressive product with two 6.5 drivers and a ring radiator tweet. Despite the ear crushing levels, i was able to discern a tight controlled slam with true mids and a zingy high. Not airy, but realistic and fit well the forward presentation. The cambridge stream magic is really cool. Accepts a bunch of different inputs and is wireless as well. Definitely improved the pandora compared with the sony bluray. I never heard of PNB either, but gotta say they are top notch.

Like most higher end speaks, the PBN's will take notice of any cable or gear changes very easily. Enjoy the new toys.

Big thanks to deronb1 for not only bringing me to the place to pick up my new Stream Magic, but for also hooking the animal up and unleashing a whole new level of ear candy to my world! I doubt I would have had it up and running until tomorrow if he wouldn't have helped. My dad is the only other person I know that knows this stuff and he's on a mission for a while now. (18 months)

The Pandora sound through the Stream Magic is just that..Magic! Haven't even upgraded the service and the quality right now is amazing...to say the least. We are very happy with the addition and enjoying songs I've heard for years, but hearing most of them for the first time...so it seams!! Wow!! Thanks Deron, you are welcome here anytime my brother!

I have the B741s from RMAF. Peter put them up on agon, and I was lucky enough to get them for less than the drivers cost.

I'd imagine everything Peter is involved with is superb. I know the SP2'S sure are. I am looking forward to the next set up in the line for our living room before too long here. I'm sure that set will be just as amazing.

I can't afford to go higher up the chain, so it's a good thing I'm happy with what I have. When I measured the response of the 741s in room, they were -3dB at 25 Hz. Some of the cleanest bass I've ever heard and the sound stage is quite a bit more 3D than my Paradigm S8s.

Wow...great snag bro. You do realize he sold those in kit form, fully assembled for over 8 g's ? You got some quality components in those puppies. Great choice there pal. Peter is one of those guys who takes great pride in what goes out the door. He's not interested in mass marketing or selling as many as possible regardless. He wants you to be happy with your sound and will customize anything to make it happen.

Well, now we have 3 Montana fanboys...lol

I meant the SP3's, perfect size and vibe for the bedroom. Defiantly moving up the Peter chain within the year for my living room. Will have a beautiful set of RT2000i (wood tone) for sale then.

Yep. I was considering the kit and thought I'd see if I could find the Scanspeak drivers on the used market to save some cash and stumbled on the auction.

I'll keep praising PBN Audio and see if we can find some more converts :)

Looks like a nice amp since your Parasound sold so fast you will only hope this one sounds as nice if not better, If you still have your SDA's once you get this I don't think your new amp is common ground so be careful should you want to try it out on them.

I still hold onto my statement, but whatever floats your boat man. I hope the amp turns out to be a winner. I've never heard of them.
Hang onto that statement (actually more of a suggestion) as I am just glad you didn't give up on me. The amp will be a winner because it is made by a winner and it is paring up with that same winners speakers. Thanks Skip

Yes I already know and this amp is going to be married to the Montana SP3's and if I decide not to sell the 1B's I have a line on a real sweet amp to make em sing again. Appreciate that though. Really!!
