CS400 or CS400i matches perfectly with any of the SDAs or Vintage monitors with 6-1/2" drivers. -
So I will throw out the CSi 5. Its cheaper than the A6 and sounds good. NooshinJohn ran his 2.3's with one and they sounded quite good.
I will also throw out that there is someone on this forum with a CS400 or CS400i (forget which) that you could probably snag and have to you in short order.... IMHO....a vintage speaker needs a vintage center. The Polk 400 or 400i and the 1000p are nice centers to match up that vintage Polk sound. Also look at Definitive Technology, they voice match well with Polk speakers.HT SYSTEM-

I have a CS400i with my SDA HT rig. Very pleased & balances well with the M4.6 Series 2 surrounds. Trey (Vr3) had suggested possibly rebuilding the crossover with a bit of a tweak for the voicing, but I haven't went that far yet.SDA SRS 3.1TL, Adcom GFP710 (preamp), GFA5400 amplifier, Pro-Ject TT
SDA SRS (circa 1988), Integra DHC 60.3 (HT preamp) Adcom GFA555 II, CS400i (center), Monitor 4.6 II (rears) Adcom GFA2535 & Oppo BDP-103, TCL 55R617 55" 4K Display, RTA 15TL (crossovers by VR3), Adcom GFP710 pre & GFA545 II amplifier, NAD C545BEE. AppleTV 4K
