An attacker only needs a victim’s PayPal username and password in order to access a two-factor protected account and send money. The protection offered by the two-factor Security Key mechanism can be bypassed and essentially nullified.
It looks like they still need the username and password, so not a huge deal. But I'm still glad I haven't linked any bank accounts to PayPal, and remove my CC immediately each time after using it. -

I have a account set up just for PayPal also & it seems to work pretty good. Before i got an account (early last year) i researched & heard bad things. So i thought it best to have its own account. Ive only bought 25 things/sold 15 with PayPal with no Ebay sales-only buys. But my business & personal accounts will never be tied with PayPal...
