While working late this afternoon I made a not so unusual movement. When a sharp pain hit me in the the right shoulder and right bicep.
I looked and my bicep and it looked funny and felt like mush. A not to quick trip to the E.R. and they tell me I ruptured the bicep tendon.

I have to make an appointment tomorrow with an orthopedic group as it will require surgery to repair.

Sorry to hear about this Bill, I hope your surgery is a success and you have a very speedy recovery. I knew a guy in his 40's back in the 1980's who ruptured his bicep tendon severely lifting weights. He was a huge guy and was using a lot__ of weight when the tendon gave way. He had a huge scar from his surgery. Hopefully now 30 some odd years of medical progress , your scar will be minimal.

Speedy recovery, however it looks like you were able to pull that Focus out of its sleeve and gingerly place it on the platter, as long as you can flip it over, get well.

Sorry. But at least a torn bicep is an easier, faster rehab (3-6 months), compared to an Achilles. I'm coming up on two years and my left calf muscle is still one inch smaller than the other. The surgery should be fairly routine. Good luck!

No I was asking a question on the Focus album. All music tonight is most definitely gonna be CD's.

Arm in a sling and all that.

I'm 4 1/2 years out from my ruptured achilles and, after doing lots of PT and gym work, I've come to the conclusion that it'll never be the same size as the other one
