Thinking of upgrading my 2 channel setup. For the most part I have been pushing my 1Cs with a NAD 304 as a preamp with a NAD 2400 amp. What would be a good upgrade? Since the consensuses is 200WPC for the SDAs I was thinking of upgrading the amp. Any opinions? I really have no complaints with the current setup. I figure I have about 400 to play with. What do you say?
HT- Samsung PN50B860/Integra DTR 30.3/Rt55 Fronts

If your amp can handle a 3-4 ohm speaker I would recommend upgrading the dimensional inductors before spending money on a new amp. I can't say for sure what result you would get with your 1Cs but it was probably the best bang for the buck that I've got for a little over $100 investment.

    What is your source? Cabling?

If I understand the question, my sources are a NAD tuner an Integra CD player and a Technics turntable, nothing fancy. Currently cabling is 14ga wire from monoprice.

The amp can handle a 4 ohm load but is only 100 WPC at 8ohm.

    FIFY.

I say you buy $400 worth of new music on CD. Other folks might suggest vinyl, or downloads, or some other format maybe even including Elcaset.

The important thing is to buy music instead of "component".
