Salamander Audio Rack

I replaced my Sanus rack with a Salamander Synergy rack. I think the Salamander rack provides a cleaner look and is much more flexible as far as adjusting shelves. I had hoped the larger wheels on the Salamander would make it easier to move through thick carpet but it is still a pain to move when fully loaded. The quality of the Salamander was better than I expected for something you have to assemble yourself - and by the way it will take a few hours to get it together and tweaked just right. I was impressed with the door hinges which had complete adjustability for a perfect fit. I was initially concerned about the possibility that the cabinet height would degrade imaging and soundstage but so far have not noticed much if any difference.

I have the same exact Synergy design cabinet in a different configuration. You have the Twin 30 I have the Tripple 20. Mine has the Aluminum silver poles instead of the black which I considered swapping out to as I don't have Silver Rotel gear anymore and thats exactly why I got Silver as I planed all those years ago to go with a full Silver gear.
My Salamander rack is 12 or 13 years old now? And it's in perfect shape. The Quality is lifetime man.
The Only thing I don't like about these racks is there is NO wire management. You can purchase wire management for them with Lacer bars , extended back panels etc. They even offer Rack mounts which is pretty cool and very nice looking when Installed.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
I was thinking that was a twin 221. And that's the one I now covet.
