I have most of their autographs and basketball cards as well.....
Haven't really watched em since then, especially after the Detroit Riots......
I know they are not the same team and have been doing a LOT better both for the community as well being good ON the court... but I just cant bring myself to watch them..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." I'm going to be completely honest with you man, I'm not a fan of a single standing rack underneath a TV.
I don't like how high it makes you mount or place the TV. I feel the lower the Tv the better the experience. Trying to keep the TV at a sitting eye level viewing is ideal. Why make yourself look up and cause neck strain?
I think you should go back to building and build that nice rack into a triple wide so all equipment can live underneath the TV lower. I would build it 3 shelves wide and 2 shelves high. This also will lower the center channel. You can angle the center channel up as needed to get a ear height focused coverage.
This will also hide up some of the wiring so you don't have to look at wire mess.
Maybe the guys where joking around with you about the TV level but by the picture it does appear to be off level.
The Emotiva amps are really cool looking and I still to this day have not been able to demo one. I wish we had a Emotiva Demo program so I could get my hands and ears on one.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
Thanks for the compliments and constructive criticism Dan!!
I'll address the TV level that you, Scotty and Tony pointed out, that is just due the way I took the picture. I bubbled everything before I put the finishing touches on.
The TV isn't really that high on the wall, the bottom of it measures 40" from the floor, so the bottom is eye level from the seats, and the seats are power recline theater seats so you can achieve that perfect angle of viewing without ever having to "look up"
In three years I'll be back in San Antonio for good, If I'm still running my gear, you're welcome to come by anytime for demo or two.

Lol, that's actually my 50". My daughter took out the 64 with a stinking Wii remote last year. I have plans to finally replace it here by August.
Here's how the CSiA6 makes the 64" look, adorned with both subs and four A9's, mains and wides.
And the rack in it's original build.
