So I have a boss audio system fairly new to this stuff got a 5000 boss amp and had 2 12 inch boss phantoms that were 2000 watts each and I fried one got 2 more coming that are 4600 together what did I do wrong with first set ? Plz any help welcome

with the vast amount of information in your first post....not to mention BOSS is just not all that high quality to begin with. Really need a ton more info to make any headway with this....

I'm only just now starting to learn about mobile audio systems, and what little I've learned may or may not help you with a home system. Anyway, I'm wondering what signals you're sending to your subs from the amp... what range of frequencies are you sending to them? Using a crossover? What are the ohm ratings of the amp and of the subs? What is the wiring configuration you are using to connect the subs to the amp? Are the subs of a single voice coil or dual voice coil design?
The diagram below shows how wiring two subs to an amp can change the load on the amp.
I'm sure with the answers you provide, some gurus will step in here and help guide you.
