Complete polk rt5000 speaker system for sale

With the acquisition of my SRT system, I have decided to sell one of my three RT5000 systems. I'll leave it on here for one week and then it's off to eBay.

Complete RT5000 speaker system all in black.

The usual scratches and nicks (with black they are all easy to hide and have been touched-up). Bases and feet are all in excellent condition. Grilles are decent too. No broken terminals. New Sorbothane mounting pads for RT3000p satellites.

All speakers and amps have been thoroughly tested and function 100%.

(2) RT3000p satellites
(2) RT3000p powered subwoofers
(1) CS1000p powered center speaker
(2) f/x1000 bipole/dipole rear surrounds

$1,400

Prefer local pick-up (St. Louis metro) but will ship. Shipping for these ranges from $250-$350 to the continental USA depending on ship-to location.

    I'm not really looking to separate this system. I do have another CS1000p, a pair of RT3000 satellites, and a pair of f/x1000 that are not part of the three complete RT5000 systems I currently own that I may consider parting with next.

    I will not separate the Rt3000p from a complete RT5000 system. If I do decide to sell another Rt5000 system it will be for around $2,000 because my other two sets are almost mint with the original boxes. Both systems include the following components:

    Two RT3000p (subs + satellites)
    One CS1000p center
    Two f/x1000 surrounds
    One PSW650 sub

    One of them I purchased brand-new from Polk over 10 years ago for $6,000 (that translates to $8,308 in today's dollars) and hardly used it. All speakers are black.

    You guys are something else......RT hoarders, I love it. I guess someday I need to break down and find a rosewood center to complete the journey. Seems everyone I come across for sale is for more than I want to pay as I found my other pieces so cheap. I mean $500 plus shipping is tough when there are new centers available for that...or the LSiM706C in the for sale section.

    Oh well...maybe someday one will pop up local in my price range.....like the one deal Chefkungfu found last year!

    Hey WLDock, that was a killer deal for $260!! That's why I jumped all over it! A local guy accepted my offer and I drove to his place tested it out and took it home. It was a no brainer! I'll eventually sell sell my RT's and upgrade to newer stuff, but for some reason, I can't get away from the RT's ! I just bought another complete RT500 and an SRT! That should be fun!

    Not too sure,but I think I'm going to hook up both CS1000's for the center.. Fronts are RT3000, Side surrounds are the other RT3000's
    rear surrounds are the FX1000. The rest of my gear is going in different rooms of the house. When my SRT's get here later this week, I'm going to use the for the fronts and move the RT3000 to the rear surround. The FX1000 will go in a different room.
    Keep in mind guys, this is not a PERMANENT setup! Just moving speakers around until I decide what I'll do with everything.....
