I will be throwing my brother his bachelor party in July in the greater Seattle area. I need ideas since he doesn't want to do strippers, and he said he wants to do at least one physical activity. Anyone have any favorite experiences or activities?

Thanks for the help!

I have been to two bachelor parties in the past 6 months. Brutal times, brutal times...

For one of them we did Vegas and did two massive suites at the Venetian. We did everything you can imagine a bachelor party doing in Vegas.

For the second, we did a huge cabin in Big Bear (slept 15) and during the planning of it our bachelor made it absolutely clear that he did NOT want strippers... that all changed after his first beer, so don't rule anything out.

I don't know your bachelor but I'll just throw out that you don't need strippers to have a good time. There will be guys begging for it, but as long as they are kept busy, it'll be fun. My favorite memories from both were dancing at the night clubs, fancy dinners, bbq'ing, swimming, beach volleyball, etc.

Are you guys doing the more outdoors type of thing or will you be in the city? I can offer advice from there.

I am by no means local, but I wanted the same thing.

My best man got a bunch of my buddies together and we rented a pontoon boat a jet-ski and a tube and spent a day on the water just hanging out. We did it the day of the rehersal so all my friends from out of state were here for the wedding already.

It was a great time to just relax, catch up and have some fun.

It was by far one of my favorite memories.

FWIW, we went go-karting, hit some balls at a driving range(none of us played golf) then met up with the ladies for dinner. Lots of fun in the sun.

No strippers?? How about a strip joint, loaded with strippers? We took a photo of our friend who didn't want strippers, and then blew up his head lifesize and taped about 50 of them to zoro-type masks so you had eye holes but the whole face was a mask with a rubber band holding it on your head. Then we handed them out to everyone in the strip joint, even the strippers. Then we took our friend to the strip joint and when he walked in, everybody in the place was wearing a mask of his face. Then a stripper dressed like a cop came out (with his mask on) and proceeded to sit him on a chair and-cuff him to the pole. Our buddy didn't want any strippers because his fiance said no strippers. Poor little fella. Well, it turned out his Mom and fiance heard about the party so they decided to go see what all the noise was about. But they were too cheap to pay the $5 cover charge and never went in. Just imagine the look on their faces had they entered and seen fifty people all wearing his mask, and him on stage hand-cuffed to the pole.... He told us later it was the best day of his life.

How about everybody going to an indoor or outdoor shooting range(before anyone starts drinking or partying) and spend an hour or two honing their shooting skills. Maybe some of your buddies grew up in the city and never even had the opportunity to handle a firearm or know how to protect himself when the SHTF. Paul had a good idea with the paintballing idea too!

Had a day trip to the golf course a couple years ago, got an extra cart and toted around 3 bikini clad girls to pop our beers and wash our balls

What is it with guys, strippers and bachelor parties?? I am not a prude by any means but that's so low!! To each their own I guess but why stoop so low just because a guy is making a mistake in getting married.

And hookers with some of that neon paint spread around on everyone (and black lights)! It gives new meaning to the term "paint balling".

We're doing a camping weekend at a friend's farm for another friend's bachelor party in July. Bonfire, grill out, buncha people bringing instruments for a day long jam out, etc. I'm supplying a gallon of moonshine from back home, so it should be............interesting. But no strippers, hookers or blow.

Great option. I've ran many games for bachelor parties, they always have a great time. Just be aware of what you do before going to the field, anybody too drunk may not get to play! A lot of fields have specials for these types of parties. Good luck!

Rented out the entire track at Willow Springs and everyone got to drive Formula Fords.

We had instructors present for instruction and after everyone's skills had been determined races were run in groups according to ability.

It was a lot of fun. Expensive but fun. We had EMT present along with Medivac in case someone got seriously injured.

Bet you don't need that at a strip club.

Only when I'm naked under some overalls and drinking moonshine....other than that I'd prefer Violins or Angels on a Harp....naked of course.

When I did my brothers, we went to F1 in Boston, then headed to the Harpoon brewery for a private tour with the 20 man group, went out to a fancy restaurant, got loaded, picked up a homeless guy named "Country" and had peelers....one of the peelers had just blown about 12 lines of coke and was unable to perform due to near unconsciousness.........memories!!

That's what we did for my bachelor party. Stayed at a big group camping site in a state forest and rented a few canoes from a local outfitter that provided shuttle service. Floated on the Potomac for about six hours, went swimming along the way, watching trains go over on the bridges while we drank a bunch of beer. Much better then strippers.
