Hello all,
This ad popped up on my local Craigslist. I really don't need another pair of speakers but have a soft spot for Polk's vintage speaks and had never heard of Samsung amp/tuners, but looks a lot like old Kenwood gear. Can anyone ID which vintage Polks these are, and if they are worth a grab? Thanks!

IIRC George Grand has owned like 10 pairs of these as have a BUNCH of other guys. Some of the forum folks are still running them (cfrizz, cnh I think)...
Not bad for the package, dont know squat about the Sansui's but know its supposed to be a decent brand."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
I'd grab them if they were in my areaHome Theater/2 Channel:

Yep, definitely 8TLs - not only the upgraded tweeters on them, but the different port placement too. They appear to be in very good shape. I'd jump on them if they were local. Eighty bucks for them AND the Samsung gear - a true "No Brainer!" if they're fully functional.

Wow, that is a steal at $80! It would still be a good price even without the tuner and integrated amp.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.
