hey guys,
I was thinking of selling my SL3 and want some advise from fellow guitar players in here. This guitar retailed for $1549.99 and I got it on sale after taxes around $1300 somewhere I don't recall exact price I paid for it but thats very close. Then I purchased the Jackson case for it which was Retail$129.99 and I got it for like $100.00 deal at Sam Ash.

It's in mint condition , not a scratch on it or paint chip anywhere , I didn't play it all that much over the years I owned it as I don't have time to put hours into playing not to mention I have other guitars to play so It didn't tons of time.
I was going to ask $900.00 plus shipping but some of the guys over in the Jackson forum told me it's worth around $600.00. I'm not at all happy with that price and did some research. The only ones you can get around that price are beat up and scratched. I did however see a mint Black on on Ebay for $1069.00 which I feel is a good price for this guitar. It's not a cheap model it's 3rd down from top of the line that year in the SL line. There was a Sl1 which was $3000.00 , a SL2 which was $2500-$3000 and then mine which came in at $1549.99

I got an offer on it already from a dude and he offered $575 which I basically told him to fly a kite. Then counter offered a $800.00 shipped which I'm not really happy with it but I'll do it to fund another guitar I'm after.

The only reason I'm selling it as I want a Hard tail , All my guitars are Floyd Rose and this one is my oldest one and I could part with it for the right money. Anything less and I'll keep it, It's a badass guitar and sounds amazing. I love playing it when I do.

Am I asking to much or is my price very fair?
Dan

I'd ask 950 for it with lots of pics, maybe take 850 if necessary.

+1 , your guitar is practically showroom new, not some demo that's been hanging on the guitar center wall being thrashed, scratched ,chipped and dinged by every Tom ,Dick, and Harry guitar player or poser. Go for $950 , have a lot of close up pictures , don't take under $850.00 . Hopefully, someone local will pick it up so you don't have to jack around with the a** hats at UPS and FedEx shipping it. Post a few pics here too.
